Where It All Began
G89com started with a simple observation: Filipino bettors were being underserved. Most online platforms at the time were built overseas, translated poorly, and offered payment options that did not match how people here actually handle money. Deposits were complicated, withdrawals took days, and customer support was useless if you could not speak English fluently under pressure.
So the team behind G89com decided to do something about it. The goal was not to create another generic sportsbook. The goal was to build something that felt genuinely Filipino — a platform where you could deposit ₱200 via GCash on a Tuesday night and place a bet on your PVL team before the opening whistle, without any unnecessary hassle.
From Davao to Dagupan, from Cebu to Cavite, G89com was designed to work for every kabayan who enjoys sports, card games, and the occasional spin — wherever they are, whatever time it is. That founding vision has not changed. We have grown considerably since those early days, but we remain committed to the same core idea: Filipino bettors deserve a platform that truly understands them.
"We built G89com because we believed Filipino players deserved better — faster payouts, local games, and support in their own language."
